Our mission

To help children, wherever they are, reach their full potential as citizens of the world.

We strongly believe that enabling refugee children to remain in touch with their cultural roots can ease the transition to their new surroundings, help build social skills, stimulate their imaginations and soothe the trauma they've endured. To this end, we provide these children with books in their native language.

The Books Away From Home Foundation is a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI).
